This is the adorable moment a rescue dog raised her paw and waved at shoppers visiting a supermarket in Brazil.
Footage captured in Catanduva, Sao Paulo, shows the friendly dog named Agusta patiently sitting outside the store and greeting customers as they enter or exit.
The dog eagerly waits for people to approach before raising her paw and waving it in their direction.
Some shoppers stop to give the dog a gentle stroke on the head.
Owner Jeferson Alexandre Rodrigues, 53, said he adopted Agusta in 2019 after reading about the animal on social media.
The canine had been found by a rescue group bruised, unable to walk and trembling with fear before she was hospitalised for a week.

Now, two years later, the friendly animal joins her owner at his motorcycle workshop where she is considered ‘the workshop’s chief employee’.
Mr Rodrigues told G1 News: ‘She was still afraid of people when she came to my workshop, but over time, she built confidence and became this thing we see in the video. She has been the workshop’s chief employee since 2019.’
The dog’s owner, who named his dog after the motorcycle brand Agusta, said the pooch ‘waves her paw to everyone who leaves the supermarket’ and was a ‘real character’.
He continued: ‘Agusta learned to give the paw. She welcomes everyone that way and ends up getting affection.’
Meanwhile beautician Letícia Américo, 24, who filmed the scenes, said she found the canine ‘very cute’ and was ‘in love’ with the dog.
Following the heartwarming scenes, viewers took to social media users to praise the dog.
One wrote: ‘I absolutely cannot handle this I’m nearly crying right now.’
Another added: ‘Aw bless how bloody rad (sic) are dogs.’

In some circumstances the gesture may also be accompanied by a tail wag and could be a sign that the dog wishes to attract the attention of others.
The lifting of a front paw can also be a sign of stress, fear or uncertainty about a situation and can be used by dogs if they feel insecure or threatened.
